Our Mission

At Vivette, we believe that the most meaningful lives are built around connection. Yet so often—especially for mothers—life becomes a quiet act of giving, of holding everything together while pieces of yourself slip to the background. You are the planner, the caretaker, the professional, the memory-keeper. And somewhere in all of that, your own story can start to feel a little distant.

But what if we made space to return to it?

Vivette gatherings are designed as a gentle shift—away from obligation and toward intention. Around a table, with a glass in hand and time set aside just for you, we invite you to step out of the roles you carry and back into yourself. To tell your stories, to laugh a little louder, to be witnessed and known beyond what you do for others.

Because community isn’t just a nice idea—it’s the foundation of happiness and longevity. And storytelling, shared meals, and genuine presence are how we build it. Here, care flows in every direction. Here, you are not the one holding everything—you are held, too.

Vivette is a return to connection, to identity, to joy. A place where we gather not just to be together, but to truly see one another—and in doing so, remember ourselves.

My Story

I’m a chef, storyteller, and community-builder based in Newburyport, where I live with my husband of over a decade, our two daughters, and our chocolate lab, Finley.

My culinary roots began at Boston University, where I had the privilege of learning from legendary chefs like Jacques Pépin. From there, I spent years working in some of Boston’s most beloved kitchens, including Tatte, Cutty's, and as the very first employee at Bagelsaurus. Those experiences shaped not just how I cook, but how I think about food—as something deeply tied to memory, place, and connection.

Today, I work in restaurant technology, but my heart remains firmly rooted in hospitality. I’m passionate about bringing people together—around a table, over a shared meal, and through the stories we tell each other.

Whether I’m cooking, hosting, or tending to my garden, I’m guided by a simple belief: that good food and meaningful connection are at the center of a joyful life.
